Order & Shipping

How long does delivery take in the UK?
UK orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and delivered within 3–5 business days via standard free shipping. Express shipping (1–2 business days) is also available at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship worldwide. We deliver to France, Europe, the USA, Canada, Martinique, Guadeloupe and beyond. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location. Free international shipping is available on all orders above £200.
How do I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive an email with your tracking number. If you haven't received it within 3 business days, please check your spam folder or contact us at hello@malkalondon.com
Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
Orders outside the UK may be subject to local import duties or taxes. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before ordering.
My order hasn't arrived — what should I do?
If your order is delayed or hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, please reach out to us at hello@malkalondon.com with your order number. We'll investigate and make it right — your crown should always arrive perfectly.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your crown. Items must be unworn, unwashed, in their original condition and packaging. For hygiene reasons, worn items cannot be returned. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
How do I return my order?
Email us at hello@malkalondon.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll confirm your return within 2 business days and provide the return address. We recommend using a tracked shipping service — Malka London is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Can I exchange my crown for a different size or colour?
Absolutely — we'd love to help. Contact us at hello@malkalondon.com and we'll arrange an exchange subject to availability. Please note that Limited Edition crowns are final sale and cannot be exchanged unless faulty.
What if my crown arrives faulty or incorrect?
We're so sorry if this happens. Please contact us immediately at hello@malkalondon.com with a photo of the issue and your order number. Return shipping will be covered by Malka London and a full refund or replacement will be arranged.

Products & Sizing

What is the Malka London crown exactly?
Each Malka London crown is a two-piece set: a satin-lined bonnet that sits gently against your hair and scalp, paired with a matching fabric band that wraps around beautifully. No pins, no tutorials, no struggle — just slip it on and go. Ready in seconds.
What sizes do you offer?
All crowns are available in S, M and L. Please refer to our size guide to find your perfect fit. If you have little or no hair, simply add a small fabric insert underneath your bonnet for a secure, comfortable fit.
What fabrics do you use?
The outer fabric varies by crown — cotton, viscose, and other carefully selected materials depending on the style. All crowns feature a 100% satin lining, which reduces friction, locks in moisture and protects your hair and scalp. Each product page specifies the exact fabric composition.
What is the difference between the permanent collection and limited editions?
Our permanent collection — The Six Classics — is always available. Our limited edition crowns are produced in small quantities and are not restocked once sold out. We produce consciously and sustainably — every limited edition crown has a reason to exist, and a limited number of women to wear it. When they're gone, they're gone. Forever.
Is the crown suitable for women experiencing hair loss?
Yes — the Malka London crown was designed to be gentle, easy and beautiful for every woman, including those experiencing hair loss due to alopecia, chemotherapy, postpartum changes or any other reason. The satin lining is soft on sensitive scalps, and the ready-made design means no struggling or tutorials needed. Visit our Crowns for Every Journey collection for more.

Crown Care

How do I wash my crown?
Your crown is machine washable at 30° on a gentle cycle. We recommend air drying rather than tumble drying to preserve the fabric and satin lining. Avoid bleach or harsh detergents — treat it kindly and it will last.
Can I iron my crown?
If needed, iron on a low heat setting and always use a cloth between the iron and the fabric to protect the material. Never iron directly onto the satin lining.
How do I store my crown?
Store your crown flat or loosely folded in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid compressing it for long periods to maintain the shape of the bonnet.
Can I wear my crown after swimming?
We recommend wearing your crown after swimming — slip it on straight after the sea or pool to lock in your hair's moisture and shield it from the drying effects of salt water, chlorine and sun. Your hair stays protected while you enjoy every moment.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and PayPal. All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments — we never store your card details.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes — split your crown into 4 easy payments, interest-free with Klarna. This option is available at checkout.
Is my payment secure?
Absolutely. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments, which uses SSL encryption to protect your data. We never have access to your full card details.
In what currency are prices displayed?
All prices on the Malka London website are displayed in British Pounds (£). If you are ordering from outside the UK, your bank or payment provider will apply the current exchange rate at the time of purchase.
