5 Guidelines to Wear your Crown with Confidence

5 Guidelines to Wear your Crown with Confidence

Posted by Charlotte Ismael on

Many Queens from our community have shared that they struggle with their confidence when it comes to accepting their hair loss.

I believe that our identity should never be defined by our hair. Whether you have curly hair, straight hair, locs, or are dealing with alopecia, your Crown can serve as a potent instrument for self-discovery and empowerment.

This is why I want to share with you my 5 tips that will grant you the freedom to embrace your true self, allowing you to reveal it to the world.

#1.  Choose the right size

Selecting the right size for your Crown is essential to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

Start by measuring your head circumference with a soft measuring tape at the level of your hairline, and wrap the tape around your head. Note down the measurement in centimetres or inches.

Now you can refer yourself to the size guide. If you are still hesitant, send us an email and we will assist you.

#2. Pick the colours that suit you best

Selecting the right colours when dressing is a vital aspect of personal style. Your skin complexion, eye colour, and hair tone can greatly impact how certain colours complement your overall look.

Opting for hues that harmonize with your unique features not only enhances your appearance but also boosts your confidence.

#3. Find your own style

Your Crown is an incredible canvas for self-expression. It's not just about looks; it's about embracing your uniqueness and exploring your creativity through personal style.

Find inspiration with our tutorials and share your unique Crown on social media by tagging us or just posting it on our brand-new Facebook group.

#4. Learn to use makeup to your advantage

Many people have a preconceived idea of women who wear makeup: they think it looks superficial or that women hide behind makeup.

In my opinion, makeup is an art, and like any art, you must have the right equipment, learn the right techniques, and train to improve your skills. By learning that you will learn how to highlight the most beautiful parts of your face.

Lucky you, there are tonnes of YouTube videos that will guide you through this journey.

#5.  Opt for the right mindset

There are 2 models of performance in life:

 1. Have-Do-Be

 2. Be-Do-Have

The first model is the one that most of us live by but it’s inherently flawed and creates a negative loop. Let me give you an example: Once I have my hair back, I will be able to go out again, THEN I will be happy.”

Do you see the pattern here? With the HAVE-DO-BE model, the idea is that when you get what you want, then you’ll start doing the things that go with it, and then you’ll finally act/be the part. This creates a very negative loop.

The secret is to follow the second model: BE-DO-HAVE because then your thoughts, feelings, and actions will support your end results.

Confidence is like a muscle; the more you focus on it, practice it with empowering affirmations and train it, the stronger your confidence will grow.
